Coram International provided technical assistance to the Government of Georgia on the implementation of a juvenile justice reform programme, beginning with a comprehensive juvenile justice situational analysis in 2007. Following this, the team provided technical inputs for juvenile justice reform. A key component of this program was the establishment of an alternative sentencing scheme for young offenders. Two pilot projects were established in 2007 and Coram International supported the implementation of these projects through coaching, monitoring and training over the next three years.
