In 2018, Coram International was commissioned by UNICEF Malaysia to undertake a situation analysis of children, women and adolescents. The team were also commissioned to carry out a separate situation analysis of adolescents, which involved the analysis of data and research specific to adolescents, along with an internal review of the barriers, bottlenecks and opportunities for UNICEF Malaysia to work on and with adolescents in its next country programme cycle. In September 2020, UNICEF Malaysia published the final report.
